Do Sevin pesticides control all insects?
Sevin products are broad-spectrum pesticides. This means they control a wide range of insect pests. However, the number and types of insects controlled depends on the product. Liquid Sevin Insect Killer Ready to Use2 kills and controls more than 700 insect pests. Sevin Insect Killer Concentrate and Ready to Spray liquid products kill and control more than 500 insect pests. Sevin Insect Killer Lawn Granules and Sevin® Garden Perimeter Insect Killer Granules kill and control more than 100 insects. When is the best time to apply Sevin pesticides?
The best time to apply pesticides is during morning and evening hours when winds are calm and no rain is forecast for 24 to 48 hours. This reduces the likelihood that products may be blown or washed away. It also minimizes unintentional contact with beneficial pollinator insects, which are most active during daytime hours. Sevin products can be used throughout the growing season, as long as they are used according to label instructions. Refer to product labels for guidelines involving frequency of applications and required intervals between treatment and harvest of edible crops.
